Driving the old Pacific coast highway, north of Ventura, is a favorite of ours. This view shows the Emma Wood state campground cutoff where you camp alongside the historic, crumbly old part of Hwy 1 and home for the week is oceanfront. This spot of the Pacific coast is very grounding and peaceful and I’m inspired to paint its beauty, sea life and crashing waves.
