1960s Rebellion

I was a teenager in the 70s and just loved the fashion, the 'look', the mods and rockers and came across this old black and white photo and knew I had to paint it, in oils on block canvas. I loved that era, but then I love seeing the fashion trends throughout time, and for me the best part of painting portraits are the people - who were they, who are they, what did they do for a living etc. I also use charcoal and graphic, and acrylics, whatever the customer wants. I had a solo exhibition early last year, 2022, which went very well. It was daunting but very exciting.
