The Flow Rises

Painted en plein air over two days. I was rudely interrupted during the first session by the river level rising and forcing me to flee from my rocky perch, which was becoming an island. In the end, the foamy foreground helped add interest that the original dry ground may have lacked. In that respect, Mother Nature helped with the composition.
