Two-Toed Sloth

Two-Toed Sloth, Animals & Birds
Two-Toed Sloth
Sloths are unique and interesting animals. They are most known for being very slow-moving animals. They are tree dwelling mammals which are found in the rainforests of Central and South America. They love to hang upside down as depicted in this oil painting of a two-toed sloth, which captures the natural elegance of this majestic animal as it slowly moves along the tree branch. We can learn from these animals that we must live in the moment and appreciate life, by slowing down and being patient. The two-toed and three-toed sloths recently became a national symbol of Costa Rica, in the efforts to protect the species. This is very important as they help to maintain the rainforest ecosystem in equilibrium.
