The little Island

While painting at the Publishers Invitational in the Adirondacks, this beautiful scene presented itself as we walked through the woods. There were lots of artists already set up and painting, so finding the right spot was difficult. Fortunately I took some photos, and drawing from memories, my quick study, and photo reference, I was able to paint this one.
