Little Adobe in Ojo Sacro

One summer morning while staying in Ojo Sarco a village in northern New Mexico, the fields were unusually filled with sunflowers from more rain than usual for this state. I have loved painting abandoned buildings forever for the pathos of people moving on and a life forgotten. It was about 8am and I happened upon this abandoned home almost hidden by the sunflowers. The home was barely standing and swaying off to one side, one wall actually detached in places and ready to fall. I was thrilled to capture it before the light changed!
