Oil on canvas painted with palette knife and brushes. Trees are my favorite subject to paint, and I find autumn the most inspiring with its variety of warm colors. It’s as if nature has chosen my color palette for me, and it is my task to transfer those vivid colors to my canvas. I am compelled to capture that fleeing beauty before winter winds and snow erase this colorful scene.
