Night Passage

Oil on panel. My family went on a cruise over Christmas and I brought an entire suitcase extra of my plein air supplies. I painted on the ship all week. I'm sure I was quite the spectacle! This was during a very turbulent night where the boat was rocking. My kids and I walked along the deck and took videos of the churning water at night, which I later used to paint from in the studio.
