Three Generations

This studio oil using both knives and brushes is my mom, my daughter in law, my daughter and I out on a sunset ride in Hawaii on a working ranch. Our horses are as much a part of the painting as we are because they also have such unique personalities. I hope I've managed to show the emotion of the moment in the image by capturing the warmth of the light, the company, and the characters (both human and equine).
