Cascading Gems

Plein Air painted at Bogg River Falls in the Adirondacks. Happening upon this dam-up of rocks on one of the side steams became an area of respite for me. I found the calm and focus I had been looking for following days of doubt and frustration. A Divine view feeding all my senses brought the calm. As the image painted itself, I thought about the Indigenous people who stood here centuries before and felt the very same way. I felt an immense love for Life and Nature.
