Nature's Wild Rumpus

This oil work was plein air painted at Bogg River Falls in the Adirondacks. Of all the places I painted in the area of Bogg River Falls this din of rushing water was the most sacred and enriching. No other sound could stand up to restless explosion of water; loud and energized, yet the din contradicted itself causing peace to the senses and soul. I cherish this experience.
