As I walked a familiar trail early one summer morning in the hills of eastern Kentucky, these glorious rays of sunshine appeared before me! I knew it had to become a painting. What a gift to be able to re-live and contemplate the moment by painting it.
Traveling full time, I accomplished this painting on the dinette table in my RV when the weather would not cooperate for outdoor painting.
