A studio interpretation of my ski trip to Grindelwald, Switzerland. When working in the studio, I only use photo references that I have personally taken. This allows greater freedom and knowledge to deviate and correct the digital reference to match my memory of the moment. In this piece, my memory greatly informed my choice of brushwork so I could capture the grander of the calmness I felt in this moment.
