Float

Though I mostly paint water in it's liquid form, I also explore the other elements of water such as vapor. In Float, I've expressed the heaviness of the clouds by building the whites slowly and thickly to create the weight of the afternoon skies. I want the viewer to feel the heat and humidity of the impending summer rain.
