No longer in existence, this store was not really a store but a very unique diner located in a tiny town called Commiskey, Indiana. Folks traveled from surrounding states just to enjoy a piece of their famous "mile hile cream pie". The owners of the diner gave all three of my children their very first "jobs" to earn some spending money, from washing dishes, taking out the trash, or sweeping up at the end of the day. To me, this represents a fond memory of our own little piece of small-town America. I chose to put this in the vehicle category because having a vehicle in an image not only helps tell the story but gives a sense of time as well.
