A portrait completed in studio of Monroe County Circuit Judge, J. David Rice. An oil painting on canvas panel. I began painting in 2019 after my youngest son began school, and I have pursued it with passion since. This was my first formal portrait, painted in December of 2022. It is particularly special, as Mr. Rice is also my father-in-law, and Grandfather to our four boys.
