Caddo in Pink Light was done from a sketch and photograph of Caddo Lake. Caddo is one of the largest flooded cypress forests in the United States, located on the Texas and Louisiana border. I have been teaching and painting at Caddo Lake for over 25 years. It is a magical place and continues to pull at my heartstrings.
