I painted these ducks starting in plein air at Centennial Park in Nashville, TN. I had moved to Nashville and missed the colors of the California Coast, and so I went to the pond to find water reflections and blue color. The ducks did not disappoint. I used undercoats and looked for color within their feathers. This was a joy.
