I catured a great moment with my camera while at the annual Blue Hill Fair in Maine a few years ago. The powerful but calm Belgian horses, listening to their handlers while pulling massive concrete blocks, created quite a contrast to the men in their large machines behind them, waiting to reset the blocks mechanically. I completed this with oil paint on linen, using an orange and blue color palette for harmony in both the saturated and neutral colors throughout the painting.
