Rain Clouds Study en plein air

These clouds were moving so fast but the colors were spectacular and I had to try to capture not only their color but the movement as well. I always start with a grisaille underpainting which in this case was burnt sienna and Liquin to speed up the drying process followed by a pass or two of color in some areas.
