Sunburst Evening Sky

Sometimes sunset skies are so radiant they look like the sky is on fire and bursting with color. When I first moved to Tennessee, this was the first sunset we saw from our backyard and it was brilliant. Of course I had to paint it! Because of the way I wanted to lay in the clouds I had to do it in layers after each had dried so that it would look as though they were advancing toward the viewer.
