This is a plein air painting of a beautiful wildflower field in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin. The overhanging branches from the nearby tree framed the field perfectly, capturing the beauty of a typical Wisconsin summer. Painted with soft pastels on terra cotta Colourfix paper.
